A Semi-Formal Introduction
A passionate lover of people and computers a like. I'm an Information Technology Support Technician, a Desktop Application Developer, and a solver of people's problems. Always fond of computers, I spent a lot of my childhood tearing apart machines long before I knew how to put them back together. But I especially enjoyed any chance to help others with whatever technical frustrations they may have had.
When seeking opportunities to learn more about computers in High School, I stumbled into a coding course by mistake, and quickly got a taste for Application Development too. Even when I'm not working on machines, I love to work with people. In Group projects, I swiftly assume the role of mediator. When aiding customers or clientele, I always start with a strong rapport. While working for a non-profit online Credit Counseling agency, I was quickly promoted to and aided in the formation of their marketing department.
Now, with an Associate's in Computer Science and a Bachelor's in Information Technology, I'm always seeking opportunities to unite my technical abilities with my communication skills.
In my free time, I enjoy writing small convenience Applets for myself and offering Desktop support for friends and family. But with my adventurous wife, Jill, and energetic Mini Eskie, Cosmic, I always have some one or something pulling me into new experiences and new opportunities for growth.
